Izidor Karničar is slovenian cross country skier raised in Jezersko by extreme alpinist and skier Davo Karničar and his wife Petra. He became member of national team in 2019. He took 4th place in U20 continental cup in Planica and 18th place in JWSC in Lygna, both in free sprint. In seasons 2021/22 and 2022/23 he took 2nd place at slovenian sprint championships.
