"AS A COMPETING ATHLETE, YOU ALWAYS FIND YOURSELF IN A SITUATION WHERE YOU HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF: "WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO DO IT? WHY AM I DOING THIS?” - MY ANSWER? BECAUSE I WANT TO PROVE IT TO MYSELF. MOTIVATION AND ENDURANCE ARE DECISIVE TERMS, WHICH DECIDE ON VICTORY OR DEFEAT. THE "WHY" HELPS ME TO FOCUS ON THE GOAL. THE TEAM AROUND ME IS AN IMPORTANT SUPPORT. KÄSTLE DID NOT ONLY CONVINCE ME WITH THE EQUIPMENT, BUT ALSO WITH ITS EXCEPTIONAL CARE AND SUPPORT. TOGETHER WITH THE KÄSTLE FAMILY, I I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO CONTINUE THE SUCCESSFUL TIMES OF THE PAST."

BIO

For Sonja Gigler sport has always been an important part of her life. At the age of 5 she started with artistic gymnastics, where she can look back on numerous successes. She has already become four times national champion and two times national champion in team gymnastics in the junior class. At the age of 10 she started ski racing in addition to artistic gymnastics.
The acceptance into the alpine Bregenzerwald junior squad was the starting signal for her ski racing career. After four years at the ski middle school in Schruns, she was accepted into the Vorarlberg youth squad followed by four more years at the ski high school in Stams. In training, Sonja shows what she can do with her Kästle skis and sets one best time after the other. Her goal is to achieve these training best times in the coming racing season.
